Hi Patrick, we are all seventeen and are overwhelmed that someone so close to our age has achieved such inspirational work. Hopefully we'll be at university soon and hope to get involved in similar organisations such as Soul Touch. You're an amazing role model

Welldone, your doing a great job at looking after all the little kids at the orphanage. Keep at it, because you are helping lots of people, and not just the kids in Uganda but your inspiring everyone here too.

How many people are there living in the orphanage you work at?
Do the kids get sick often?

uganda is called pearl of Africa and its totally beautiful and natural but the reality is many of the adults dying and leave the generation without parents, 30 minutes outside the main city, kampala, there Bulenga village, proparity is real here life is hard and life is short. its difficult enough to try manage the day today live alone and do the chargeds of life, with this area there is Raising Up Hope for Uganda orphanage home. this is a safety place where children who dont have anyone to care for them can live.
RUHU has been really trying to that we stop injustice in our countries, you can stand with us to fight this in uganda. many children has been left homeless and we have been taking all the possible actions to see that this child will not safe. many little children have been abandoned, most have edded up on the streets of kamapala city, still RUHU we took step to go and look for them so that they can also be having the love and compassion that Jesus christ left us.

many of you, you have asked me how i started. good thank you for that.
like i always say to my fellow friends and children in the orphanage that we are serving the living God,
how i started this orphanage.
I myself i was once a street boy with my sister kevin. my mom died in 2000 and we were left with our dad who was loving us so much and we could even attend school but unfortunitely in 2003 our died when we were in rented room thats when the hardest life started from me and my sister. the month went really first and the landlord had to send us out of his house yet we had no money, no hope, no job and our relatives have abandoned us, they could not even help us at all. what we had to do was to go to the streets i and my sister. later there was an old woman that picked us off from street after we have told her all about us and she took us to her house in zana. but while i was there i could see how children of uganda suffer from streets and i could pray to God day and night to provide for me a place to stay so that i can help the children. on day in 2007 i was walking on the street i found a lady who had come in uganda for adventure and she was invited by her friend how was already here as a volunteer in a certain church but both they were remaining with 4 days to go back to america. i met the lady on street in zana and i told her about the situation about me and my sister. she was really atouched the story and she told me that she could rent for me house and my sister oh... by then even this old woman that i have told you she was almost going to drop us out because she had no money , food o feed us so we were likely going back to streets again...!!! but God brought the angels to rescue us. the lady rented for us but as i had made a committment with God that i would like to help the children that are suffering he NEVER forgets after i have got the house thats when i started seeing the kids that are in urgent.

patrick in uganda said...

the main pourpse for this lady was to take us ( my sister and I) to USA to live there for the rest of our lives but i told her that please give me that money that was used for airticket, visa fee to buy the house for the neglicted children and street children and to all those children that have no one to care for. she was really disappointed i told her that i have no where that i am goin i am going to stay in uganda help children, good enough she said that ok she gave me the money and i bought the house and here we are. children that i have living the house are so happy health and they do sing glory to his name and they are educated, having three meals a day. God is good

Megan and Charlote, yes i do help them off from street. and now they are really looking healthy

Hey Patric :)

Thank you so much for traveling so far and taking the time to speak to us here at Wallace High.

Everything you do is absolutely fantastic! Giving up a chance at a new life to help the children in Uganda is one of the most amazing and inspiring stories i have heard!

Miss Bonnar has told us lots about you, and you are a very sweet person. :)

Everything you have told us about your life is so so encouraging, to show us that all together, we can make a difference :)

Send our love to the children in the orphanage. :)

Hello Patrick :) !
This is Alice & Laura-Anne. It is good to hear from you. We are all very excited to be learning about Uganda. We hope to soon have a fundraiser for your Orphanage and the Dwelling Places orphanage. We are very enthusiastic about it and we hope you will be to.

Is it always hot in Uganda? How many children would be able to live in your Orphanage? Is it easy looking after all the children or do you have help?
