Firstly we were blessed to be able to join with a congregation, complete community of people in Rio de Talea, Mexico. Their generosity overwhelmed us.
We literally had to help Mario (our host otherwise known as Super Mario) rebuild the road to get there. So when we say beaten track we mean...well yeah it was an adventure. As you'll see from the floral patterns we're modeling local culture is slightly different from what we are used to in Bo'ness and Fife. Consequently we found wearing the dresses we borrowed slightly more amusing than the locals.
Preparing lunch was a little different in the mountains above the clouds! Mainly because the kitchen utensils consisted of a log fire and some huge pots but more so because the women cooked all day and the whole community ate together. We learned SO much about fellowship!
