Well, what can I say? I am completely overwhelmed! Firstly, by the superdooper enthusiasm of all of the pupils at Wallace High School involved in the Ugnadan/ Soul Touch experience and secondly because of all you who have encouraged and written to them! I feel so blessed and ridiculously privileged to be in a position where I can contribute to something so worthwhile and know people who are so compassionate towards others.
Wallace troops: you guys are doing the best job ever! You have made so many people smile today and I can tell this is only going to get better! Your comments and messages are lovely and I am pleased that so many really thoughtful questions have been asked.

...so I log in 12 hours later and there has been so much going on with you guys today! Im toatlly inspired by you all now.
Some of you have asked about Uganda, and Miss B. I bet has he most exciting chat... and can make anyone passionate about what she believes in.
Uganda is known as the Pearl of Africa, and not unitl you have been there a few times and lived with Ugandans do you really understand why it is given that name.
For such a small country (if you look on a map its tiny in comaparison to other countries in East Afica) It has such a variety in landscapes, cultures and people.
For example you can climb Mount Elgon (height 4321m) and walk through jungle and then what I can only descibe as the scottish highlands about 3000m. (I didnt really see the peak... again very scottish, was too foggy!!!!) You can venture to Queen Elizabeth National Park, through the African bush and meet Elephants, Lions and any other animal form the Lion King you could think of.
You can camp on the banks of the Ishasha river, where Hippos sleep (and they are noisey!) but on the oher side of the river is the Congo! And then these is Sipi falls, the regency buildings in Jinja, Jinja market, White Water rafting at the source of the Nile! Bungy Jumping over the Nile. .... Yes Miss Bonnar did it, but Ive done it forwards and backwards!!!
So just few things, names and places for you to look up... and I havent even started on the people... but I think you may have heard quite a bit already about how brilliant they are.
